Changes due to COVID -19
Kitty Kat Haven is a small 100% volunteer-run donation based rescue, and with things rapidly changing, we are doing our best to put the safety and needs of our community and their pets need first.
- We have canceled ALL EVENTS, including our “Adoption Saturday.” We will continue to adopt our cats out by scheduling meet & greets @ our cat building. We have had our building and cleaning procedures in place since 2013. We feel that this is the best option for not only our potential adopters but also for our cats, as it will cut down on the use of our disinfectants. We are also VERY GOOD at keeping our building germ-free.
- As of right now, we are still taking in new cats, but depending on future funds and the care of current cats, we may have to suspend new surrenders temporarily. Here is our link for our intake requirements: http://kittykathaven.org/adopt/intake-requirements/
- We have temporarily done away with the finance portion of our Pet Pantry, http://kittykathaven.org/pet-pantry/. We want to make sure everyone who needs food can get it. This being said we currently only have two part-time volunteers running the program
